Asset management software that remembers the project that installed it

The asset’s history starts before it is in service. Sigmaviu tracks lifecycle from planned and commissioning through maintenance and retirement, and can point the asset at the project tasks that put it there.

Asset managers, maintenance leads, and capital project teams.

How Sigmaviu handles this

Project tab

The project lists its assets, and the schedule layer can mark lifecycle and maintenance events.

Inspections

Safety inspections can cite the asset and the WBS activity.

Parts and vendors

Inventory, purchase orders, and qualified vendors stay in the same organization as the asset.

A written assist

You can ask for an analysis of the assembly. The answer stays tied to your records and ends with a clear conclusion.

A working sequence

  1. 1

    Plan it

Create the asset against the project and the commissioning task.

  2. 2

    Commission it

Close the task and move the phase.

  3. 3

    Maintain it

    Run preventive work and inspections.

  4. 4

    Retire it

Point decommissioning at a task and keep the file.

Scope

This is project-centered asset lifecycle and maintenance. It is not a full enterprise asset-management suite for plant historians, rotables, or multi-site MRO planning.

Questions buyers ask

Can maintenance show on the Gantt?

Yes. Asset lifecycle and preventive-maintenance markers are a schedule layer you can turn on.

Do work orders need approval?

They can route to a person, role, or department, with a notification to the people you named.

Can we see the bill of materials?

Yes. The structure tab shows the parent-child assembly, and you can ask for an analysis of that tree.
