Construction project management software for the job and the office

Sigmaviu keeps the construction record on the project: submittals and RFIs with a named ball-in-court, daily reports a person reviews before they are saved, punch and change orders, and a closeout pack built from live project files.

General contractors, construction managers, and owners running active jobs.

What changes

  1. 01

    One job record

Schedule, documents, field logs, and cost impacts stay attached to the same project instead of living in separate inboxes.

  2. 02

    A named next owner

Submittals and RFIs move through an ordered chain. The log shows who has the ball and what revision is current.

  3. 03

    Handover from live files

Closeout scores readiness from as-builts, punch, warranties, certificates, and inspections already on the job.

How Sigmaviu handles this

Submittals and RFIs

Ordered approval chains, revise-and-resubmit, activity history, and document attachments. Spec sections can come from your org library.

Daily reports

Work performed, tomorrow’s plan, and delays can be drafted from schedule progress, open RFIs, field photos, approved crew hours, and site weather. A person reviews the draft before it is saved.

Change orders

Approved changes can update budget lines and the project end date, with flags so the same change is not applied twice.

Client visibility

Publish a client summary and selected documents to the project portal. Vendors use a separate qualification path, not the client invoice portal.

A working sequence

  1. 1

    Set the job

Create the project, site, schedule, and the people who approve.

  2. 2

    Run the logs

File submittals, RFIs, and daily reports against the WBS and documents.

  3. 3

    Price the change

Route the change order and push approved cost and time into the project.

  4. 4

    Hand over

Build the closeout snapshot, print it, and file it back to documents.

Scope

Scope is operational construction tracking inside Sigmaviu: approval chains, daily logs, punch, change cost and schedule sync, and handover packaging. Drawing-management depth and construction financials at a specialist construction suite’s level are a different product decision.

Questions buyers ask

Does a daily report save itself overnight?

No. A nightly pre-draft is optional and off until you turn it on. A person reviews the draft before it becomes the report. Optional review routing can require someone other than the author to accept it.

Can subcontractors approve without a paid seat?

A consultant can review a specific submittal through a token link. That is a review link, not a full construction network portal.

Where do drawings and photos live?

On the project document register, with field photos available to the daily report. The register is the controlled file record for the job.
