What we shipped — dated and readable. Not a dump of commits; the releases that matter for programmes evaluating Sigmaviu.

What is next → · RSS feed

  1. Service request → project, governed automation approvals, portfolio scope

Service Desk can convert a complex request into a planning project with a bidirectional audit trail. Automations gain a Require Approval gate (pause until a person approves), portfolio scope, and Notify Portfolio. Omnichannel intake accepts email/Slack/form posts via an org API webhook. Resolved tickets can draft a knowledge article for human publish. Communications can turn a decision into a controlled task or risk. Honest claim: operational service–project lifecycle and governed automation — not Asana Service Management / AI Studio / Command-for-builders parity.

    • Convert to project on a ticket with Delivery context + audit log both ways
    • POST /api/webhooks/service-intake for email/Slack/form → ticket (optional AI classify)
    • Require Approval action + Approvals waiting inbox on /automations
    • Portfolio-scoped automations and Portfolio Project Updated trigger
    • Decision → controlled action on project Communications; draft KB on resolve
    Service tickets guide
  2. Insights metrics, Explore, and project KPI cards

Insights now has a Metrics library with optional in-app alerts, an Explore table over live workspace rows, and an Insights tab on each project with click-through KPI cards. Report KPIs open the related work; charts can drill through to another page with the clicked value as a filter. Row access is a picker (everyone / my projects / my warehouses), not raw DAX. Honest claim: operational BI on Sigmaviu data — still not Power BI, DAX, email subscriptions, or warehouse-gateway parity.

    • Metrics tab: named formulas, targets, and once-a-day in-app alerts when a value newly crosses a threshold
    • Explore tab: search, sort, paging, and CSV of the current page; row titles open the matching record
    • Project Insights tab: tasks, overdue, open risks, and budget spent — click a card to open the work
    • KPI cards and table rows link to operational lists; chart drill-through opens another report page with a filter
    Insights Studio
  3. Insights Studio — self-serve reports on workspace data

Analytics → Insights lets teams start with templates or Ask Sigma, then go deeper with a semantic model across delivery, finance, people, QMS, construction, inventory, PLM, ITSM, and ESG. CSV/Excel Import, HTTPS DirectQuery, composite reports, paginated print, measures, transform steps, dataset RLS, and gateway registration are in the product. Honest claim: operational BI on Sigmaviu data and files — not Power BI, DAX, M, or warehouse-gateway parity.

    • Simple templates (progress, risks, over-budget) plus power templates (NCRs, punch, inventory, PLM, paginated receivables)
    • Ask Sigma drafts a real report with a clickable Insights link
    • DirectQuery against 30+ live tables; Import for spreadsheets (10,000 row cap); HTTPS JSON with private-host blocking
    • Power tools: CALCULATE/SWITCH measures, unpivot/group steps, composite visuals, project and warehouse RLS, certified datasets, gateways
    Insights Studio
  4. Super Admin AI usage shows credits vs provider cost

Admin organization and AI Usage views now separate tenant AI credits (the plan meter) from provider cost in dollars, estimated from tokens and Vercel AI Gateway catalog rates. The dollar figure is what we pay to run the models — not a customer invoice. SMS and phone briefings still consume credits but are not priced as language-model tokens.

    • Credits stay 1 / 2 / 3 per billed action; dollars use input and output tokens × catalog rates
    • Embeddings are tracked as provider cost without consuming tenant credits
    • Gateway billed spend can be compared when the Vercel plan exposes spend reports
    AI credits
  5. Field briefings use a text-message code and assignment cards

SMS now includes a one-time 4-digit code. If the text is missing, auto-generated IDs such as EMPMTI5OL6T2VW still unlock with 562 or T2VW, and a custom EMP-1042 uses 1042. The listen page speaks a short briefing and shows cards for schedule, weather, PPE, permits, punch, materials, and who to call — still assignment-only, not a signed JHA.

    • One-time code is hashed on the session; senders see it once if SMS is skipped
    • Backup still accepts employee-number digits and last 4 characters
    • Cards cover PPE and open work permits, site weather when coordinates exist, and punch/materials tied to the task
    • Who to call is the person’s manager, else the project manager — name only
    Field voice briefings
  6. Track field briefings on the project

When Field voice briefings are on for an organization, each project has a Field briefings tab that lists SMS and queued phone briefings — who received them, who sent them, whether they listened or confirmed, and in-app play of the spoken script. Archive hides a row without deleting it. Resend creates a new briefing. Live phone calling is still queued until a telephony provider is connected. Overnight auto-calls stay off. This is operational tracking, not a stored audio archive.

    • Tab appears only when Super Admin rollout and the org plan include Field voice
    • Listened vs confirmed, active listen link, sent-by, and channel status
    • Play briefing from the stored script; recordings are not downloadable files yet
    • Archive / restore and resend from the project without exposing listen tokens
    Field voice briefings
  7. Field voice briefings (opt-in, Super Admin gated)

Organization admins on Business and above can send opted-in assignees a spoken briefing about their assigned work — SMS listen-link, in-app, or both — with credits shown before send. The feature is off for every organization until a Super Admin turns on Allowlist or All. Live phone calling is a separate, default-off channel and still needs a telephony provider before calls go out. This is an operational briefing with acknowledgement, not a signed JHA.

    • Super Admin → Settings: Off / Allowlist / All, SMS vs call channels, 7-day audio retention
    • Admin → Plans: Field voice briefings on Business and Enterprise (editable)
    • People profile: opt-in SMS and/or phone, mobile number, quiet hours
    • Assign a task, WBS row, or risk owner: confirm SMS, call, or both with credit costs; first ack cancels a queued call
    Field voice briefings
  8. Trial ending reminders for organization admins

Paid-plan trials now send organization admins in-app and email notices 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the trial ends, plus a follow-up if the workspace moves to Free. The last notices include the charge date and estimated amount so you can cancel in Settings → Billing before the card is charged.

    • In-app banner with days left (org admins only; reappears at 3 days and 1 day)
    • Emails at 7 / 3 / 1 days left, with estimated amount and seats when known
    • Day-7 note suggests creating a first project or inviting into unused paid seats
    • One follow-up if the trial ends without a paid subscription (data is kept on Free)
    Billing, plans, and trials
  9. Super Admin can assign an organization’s in-app plan

Platform staff can open an organization, change its in-app plan (including Starter → Free), keep the workspace in the product or send it to choose a paid plan, optionally stop the payment subscription, and lock the in-app plan so provider sync does not overwrite it.

    • Change plan on Admin → Organizations (list, header, and Billing tab)
    • Comped Free keeps access; optional send-to-choose-plan for cancelled billing
    • Warns when a payment subscription is still active; cancel is explicit
    • Org admins get an in-app notification; checkout clears the plan lock
    Change organization plan (Super Admin)
  10. Mark tasks billable and forecast client hours & charge

Flag tasks and WBS rows as billable, optionally override the client, and see planned hours and charge by day, week, or month from estimates and rates — with planned vs actual billed variance. Invoices still come only from approved timesheets.

    • Create Task and Edit Task: Billable toggle + optional client override
    • WBS bulk Mark billable / Mark not billable
    • Project default: new tasks start billable when enabled
    • Budget + Charts: planned hours/$ charts with actual billed overlay
    • Ask Sigma can summarize planned billable hours and charge lookahead
    Planned billable forecast guide
  11. Plan with directory people without using seats

Import your roster in HR and assign tasks, risk owners, and project resources by name before anyone is invited. Directory-only people do not count toward plan seats. Org admins invite from the picker when ready; accepting the invite promotes planned work to their login account.

    • Shared people picker: Active seats + Directory (no seat until invited)
    • Soft-assign on tasks, WBS, risk owners, and project Resources
    • Invite to app from the picker with seat-capacity awareness
    • Accepting an invite auto-links soft assignments to the new member
    • HR import still never consumes a seat by itself
    People directory guide
  12. Platform InfoSec hub, trust center, and P0 evidence wizard

Super Admin can run Sigmaviu’s internal ISO/SOC readiness program: live architecture and data-flow diagrams, editable subprocessor register, evidence tracker with attachments, pentest log, automated posture checks, and a step-by-step P0 evidence wizard. Buyers with a share link can review the public trust center at /trust.

    • Admin → InfoSec: questionnaire, documents, evidence, architecture, pentest tabs
    • P0 evidence wizard on Overview — guided checks with deep links to each artifact
    • Editable subprocessor register syncs to data-flow diagram and register document
    • Weekly auto-verify cron updates evidence status from env/monitoring posture
    • Public trust center at /trust with token-gated share links and Excel export
    Platform InfoSec guide
  13. People directory, My profile, and skill-based staffing

Browse teammates under People with skills, tenure, and workload. Everyone with an HR profile can update skills and public links; peers can view safe profile sections and endorse skills. Task assignee pickers rank matches by HR skills, and referrals show who brought whom into the org.

    • People directory at /people with skill and department filters
    • My profile entry (sidebar) opens skills-first self-service
    • Peer privacy: resume/address/emergency stay private; optional phone visibility
    • Referrals, LinkedIn/GitHub/portfolio links, skill endorsements and last-used
    • Assignee picker: Matched by skill + View profile deep link
    People directory guide
  14. Integrations: connect, Automations posts, Calendar due dates, Jira/Linear from tasks

Settings → Integrations connects Discord, Teams, Jira, Linear, Notion, GitHub, Slack, and Google Calendar. Automations can Post to Slack/Discord/Teams. Task due dates sync to Google Calendar when connected. Task detail can create linked Jira or Linear issues. Pro gates Jira/Teams/Linear/Notion. Configure defaults per connection.

    • Webhook/API-key connect plus optional platform OAuth
    • Automations: Post to Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams
    • Google Calendar due-date push; Configure defaults (channel, project, team, calendar)
    • Create in Jira / Linear from task detail with integration links
    • Professional+ required for premium connectors
    Connect integrations
  15. Multi-sheet migration pack + changelog RSS

Import Tasks, Resources, and Risks from one Excel workbook on project WBS → Import → Migration pack. Subscribe to shipped updates via /api/changelog/rss.xml. Public roadmap refreshed so Now only lists active investment themes.

    • Excel workbook sheets Tasks / Resources / Risks (aliases: WBS, Team, Risk Register)
    • Downloadable multi-sheet template from the Migration pack dialog
    • Changelog RSS feed for evaluation committees and IT stakeholders
    • Roadmap Now/Next/Later cleaned — shipped themes live on Changelog
    Bulk data import
  16. Org storage cap bonus and override

Super Admin can add storage capacity or set an absolute byte cap per organization — parity with project-cap bonus/override — enforced on uploads against plan included storage.

    • organizations.storage_cap_bonus_bytes and storage_cap_override_bytes
    • Effective cap resolves plan + bonus, or absolute override
    • Upload paths hard-block when used + new bytes would exceed the cap
    Changelog
  17. Field-level permissions for risk plans and document notes

Custom roles can hide or restrict risk mitigation/contingency plans and DMS document internal notes — same field-policy pattern as HR salary and invoice notes.

    • New catalog fields: risk.mitigation_plan, risk.contingency_plan, document.classification
    • Settings → Permissions field policy matrix includes the new entities
    • getRisks / getRisk mask restricted plan fields for non-permitted roles
    • Record-level document/task ACLs remain on the roadmap
    Roadmap
  18. Ask Sigma agent work — standup, needs-attention, work packs, AI fields

Ask Sigma can draft standups, search the workspace, list what needs your attention, extract tasks/risks/RFIs from pasted notes (confirm to create), and propose create risk/RFI/comment with confirm. Task comments get an Ask Sigma ambient shortcut. Custom fields add AI Summary/Progress/Sentiment/Categorize/Action Items. Automations add AI Draft Comment and AI Summarize → Comment.

    • Slash intents: Needs my attention, Draft standup, Find in workspace, Notes → work pack
    • Confirm cards for work pack, risk, RFI, and post comment
    • AI custom field types with Generate + credit badge
    • Automation AI comment actions (1 credit each)
    • Honest scope: not ClickUp Brain Super Agents / AI Notetaker / Brain MAX parity
    Ask Sigma support
  19. Plan price display — $99+, ranges, and Contact sales

Super Admin → Plans can set how each tier appears on /pricing: fixed list price, from ($99+), range, custom text, or Contact sales, with a matching Contact Sales or self-serve CTA. Enterprise defaults to From $99+ + Contact sales. Catalog monthly/annual amounts stay for Fixed display and Est. MRR — not a substitute for negotiated quotes.

    • Display modes: Fixed, From, Range, Custom text, Contact sales
    • CTA label + checkout vs /contact behavior per plan
    • Live preview in the Edit plan dialog; Sales-led badge on plan cards
    • Honest scope: marketing display metadata — not automatic custom Stripe quotes
    Billing & plans
  20. Public sector audit pack — ISO 37301 / IPSAS / GAO Yellow Book

One-click Public sector pack from QMS Overview or Settings → Modules → QMS enables ISO 37301, IPSAS/GASB/FASAB-labeled financial evidence, and GAO Yellow Book controls, defaults vendor qualification to Public sector, and adds a combined workbook plus branded Print/PDF of invoices, ledger, POs, and budget vs actual.

    • Apply pack (org admin): enable ISO 37301, IPSAS, and GAO frameworks with curated controls
    • Combined Public sector workbook plus IPSAS / GASB / FASAB reporting-basis labels on cover sheets
    • Evidence packs collect invoices, unified financial ledger, POs, budget vs actual, audit/change logs, and training
    • Branded in-app Print/PDF of financial evidence; optional PO block when a public-sector vendor pack is expired
    • Honest scope: operational public-sector audit-prep — not certified GAAP/IPSAS statements or GAO audit software
    QMS & audit readiness
  21. MedTech QMS follow-ups — DHF binders, complaints, EU MDR/MDSAP, Part 11 posture

Healthcare pack now seeds DHF/DMR/DHR DMS folders and document types, defaults vendor qualification to Healthcare, and unlocks QMS Complaints with vigilance/MDR decision tracking. Add-on EU MDR and MDSAP packs plus an honest Part 11 posture card.

    • DHF / DMR / DHR / RMF / Complaint / SOP / VAL / IFU document types + Medical Device QMS folder tree
    • QMS → Complaints: receive → triage → investigation → vigilance decision (MDR/MIR) → CAPA/close
    • Apply Healthcare pack sets Vendors default qualification template to Healthcare / life sciences
    • EU MDR + MDSAP one-click control matrices; EU MDR evidence packs
    • Part 11 posture: what exists (audit logs, retention, portal e-sign, DMS approvals) vs gaps (no IQ/OQ/PQ)

    QMS & audit readiness
  23. One-click compliance evidence pack — ISO 9001 / SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / HIPAA

Compliance → Evidence Packs exports a framework-mapped workbook of control status, audit logs, change history, document approvals, and training records. Training is mapped on ISO 9001, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. Custom audit dates, saved-snapshot download, DMS attachments ZIP, auditor share links, optional portal publish, and Ask Sigma generate/list.

    • Curated control catalogs for ISO 9001, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA — not a full-standard library

  24. REST API v1 — keys, OAuth M2M, webhooks with retries, documented rate limits

External systems can read and write projects, tasks, comments, risks, and webhook subscriptions over /api/v1, plus read invoices and DMS metadata. Every response publishes X-RateLimit-* headers; the default limit is 60 requests per minute per key.

    • Cursor pagination (page[after]), Idempotency-Key (24h), IP allowlists, sk_test_ keys (skip outbound webhooks)
    • OAuth 2.0 client-credentials → oat_ tokens (1 hour) — not authorization-code marketplace OAuth
    • Webhook retries 1m / 10m / 1h then dead-letter, plus delivery log with Retry now
    • Invoices (read), risks, DMS metadata, project WBS — documented 60 req/min with HTTP 429
    REST API guide
  25. Custom fields on risks, incidents, and assets — plus formula columns and field RBAC

Configurable capture now covers the risk register, safety incidents, and assets. Formula results show as optional columns on the project Tasks table and WBS tree, Project Updated can fire from a saved formula, and custom roles can hide or lock individual custom fields.

    • Settings → Custom fields tabs for Tasks, Projects, Risks, Incidents, and Assets
    • SWITCH, DATEADD, and TODAY in the bounded formula language
    • Formula columns on the project Tasks table and WBS tree (Columns menu); source fields stay optional

    Custom fields guide
  26. Custom field formulas, show-when rules, and automations from calculated results

PMOs can capture risk scores and compliance flags without code: formula fields recalculate on save, conditional fields appear when rules match, and automations can trigger when a formula outcome changes.

    • Formula language: IF, AND, OR, arithmetic, comparisons, {field_key} references, Try in the editor
    • Show-when rules hide fields (e.g. Mitigation Plan when Risk Band is High)
    • Custom Field Changed automation trigger — optional field key + from/to values
    • One-click Likelihood × Impact risk-score pack and In-scope / Evidence compliance pack on Settings → Custom fields
    Custom fields guide
  27. Daily report approval and RFI respond/close with in-app notifications

Daily logs default to no review — Submit records them as official. You can require a reviewer (org admins, direct manager, or a named person) and optionally let authors approve their own work. RFIs notify on submit/respond/close, gate who can act, and expose Respond/Close on the detail page. Construction shows a Needs action strip for items in your court.

    • Daily: review off by default; Settings → Modules → Construction picks the reviewer and self-approve
    • In-app ping to reviewer on submit and to the author on approve/reject when review is on

Compliance → Copilot suggests mappings from project tasks, DMS documents, and QMS change records to ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 / SOC 2 / HIPAA / GDPR control IDs. Human Apply/Dismiss writes approved evidence links; Ask Sigma can run and list the inbox.

    • Scan project content against seeded framework controls (2 AI credits)
    • Suggestion inbox with Apply/Dismiss — never auto-writes to the register
    • Ask Sigma: scanComplianceControlMappings + listComplianceControlMappingSuggestions
    • Honest scope: curated-template audit prep, not certified auditor parity
    Compliance Copilot guide

    • Wizard: choose sections → review gaps → generate branded pack
    • Sources: Drawings (As-Built), Punch, Submittals (O&M / warranties / certificates / closeout), Safety inspections
    • Optional AI executive narrative (2 credits); core packaging is free/deterministic
    • Ask Sigma getConstructionCloseoutStatus with deep link to Closeout tab
    Closeout packages guide
  33. Automations — escalation queues, inbound trigger, broader webhooks

Delayed automation actions and escalation chains use a durable cancel-on-resolve queue. External systems can fire Inbound Webhook automations with an org API key. Outbound webhooks cover project, sprint, and comment events; conditions support tags, overdue days, and custom field paths; Test evaluates pasted JSON.

    • Escalation Chain action + delay_seconds durable queue (cron every 5 min)
    • POST /api/webhooks/automation-trigger with API key
    • Deliver Org Webhook action picks Settings → Webhooks endpoints
    • Project/sprint/comment outbound events + JSON condition harness
    Automations guide
  34. Automations and webhooks — multi-condition AND/OR logic

Automation rules and outbound webhooks can filter events with AND/OR conditions and nested condition groups, closing the single-condition gap for realistic PMO escalation and status broadcasting.

    • AND/OR match mode plus nested condition groups in /automations editor
    • Settings → Webhooks optional payload filters before delivery
    • Templates: escalate high/urgent review work; broadcast critical completion via webhook
    • Shared condition evaluator used by automation runs, test mode, and webhook dispatch
    Automations guide
  35. Document Submit for Review — cleaner templates, AI assist, searchable assignees

Submit for Review no longer lists duplicate one-shot Matrix/Custom templates. Build custom or matrix chains with drag-reorder, type-to-search assignees, AI step/backup suggestions (credit-gated), and a clear fix path when a matrix rule has no steps.

    • Template picker hides ephemeral Matrix:/Custom: runs; Settings → Workflows can bulk-hide leftovers
    • Create Custom: Suggest steps (2 credits) and Suggest backups (1 credit)
    • Searchable people pickers + drag-to-reorder workflow steps
    • Matrix match with zero steps links to Documents settings to finish the rule
    Submit for Review guide
  36. Switch plan checkout between Clerk Billing and Stripe

Super Admins can set the customer plan checkout provider in Admin → Settings. Clerk remains the default; Stripe Checkout runs 14-day trials and seat quantity updates with Customer Portal for payment methods. Admin MRR data source stays a separate control. Customer-portal invoice Pay is unchanged.

Each project gets a Communications tab that aggregates what needs a response: project-filtered Construction RFIs, stakeholder planned touchpoints, internal threads (typed requests, DMS attachments, promote to RFI), inbound email filing, and Ask Sigma overview deep-links.

    • Overview stats: open/overdue RFIs, submittals awaiting, planned (14d), threads, unfiled mail, risk suggestions
    • Formal = Construction RFIs filtered to the project (single register)
    • Threads with promote-to-RFI + in-app notifications
    • Mail: file inbound email into a thread; Risks Inbox remains for AI risk suggestions
    • Ask Sigma: listProjectCommsNeedingResponse
    Communications hub guide
  38. Document approval tied to version, role, and risk

DMS documents now carry a risk classification; workflows pin the submitted version/revision; Settings → Documents → Risk approval maps each band to a required custom role, SoD, and optional staff signature. Approvals fail closed on version drift, wrong role, or author self-approve.

    • Risk classification on create/edit/register (Low → Critical)
    • Workflow pins version + revision; edits frozen while workflow is active
    • Org risk→role policies + SoD + staff signature (Critical default)
    • Review matrix can match by risk band; role steps notify all role members
    • Suggest classification from linked project risk score
    • Honest scope: staff document control — not portal e-sign / DocuSign parity
    Approval governance guide
  39. Sprints tab: AI generate from WBS/brief, carry-over, and Ask Sigma

Propose sprint series from a delivery brief or unassigned WBS (with dependency and capacity checks), plan backlog into a sprint, complete with unfinished-work carry-over and optional AI retro, edit dates from the hero, and deep-link into a sprint sheet.
